Brickbeard's Bounty is one of the standout pirate ships of the modern LEGO Pirates era — a proper square-rigged galleon with three pull-action firing cannons, a walk-the-plank feature, and a mermaid figurehead at the prow. Released in 2009, the set spans 592 pieces and comes with eight minifigures including four pirates, two soldiers, and the Admiral's daughter, plus a monkey, a shark, and a mermaid. At 56cm long and 44cm tall, it has real presence on a shelf.
The detailing is generous for its price point — removable captain's quarters, working rigging, and enough play features to make it feel like a complete adventure rather than just a display piece. It sits comfortably alongside the classic Pirates sets of the 1990s in terms of charm, and remains a favourite among fans of the theme.
