Released in 2010, Hoth Wampa Cave recreates one of the more memorable moments from The Empire Strikes Back — Luke Skywalker's freezing, upside-down encounter with the wampa in its icy lair. At 297 pieces, the build delivers a nicely detailed cave environment with collapsing wall sections and a trap function, plus the wampa creature itself, which remains one of the better-realised Star Wars creatures from this era of LEGO design.
The set includes three minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and a Rebel Trooper, making it a solid little snapshot of the Hoth storyline. It pairs well with other sets from LEGO's Episode V lineup if you're building out that corner of the galaxy.
