Kingdoms Joust is one of the more ambitious sets LEGO produced under the Kingdoms banner — a sprawling medieval tournament scene that brings together a six-room castle, royal viewing box, jousting fence, two knights' weapon tents, and a pair of jousting horses, all in 1575 pieces. It's the kind of set that commits fully to its theme, with the sort of pageantry and detail that made the Kingdoms line a favourite among Castle fans.
The nine minifigures are a strong ensemble: king, queen, princess, lion knight, falcon knight, young squire, nobleman, and two soldiers. The knights come equipped with armour, helmets, jousting poles, and shields — plenty of character for display or play. Released in 2012, the set was designed so two copies could be combined for a larger tournament layout, though it holds up impressively well as a standalone build.
