Lagoon Lock-Up is one of the more characterful sets from LEGO's classic Pirates line — a modest but well-composed Imperial Guards outpost from 1991. The build centres on a small island jail, complete with a working lock-up cell, palm trees, a rowboat, and just enough tropical detail to feel like a proper corner of the LEGO Caribbean. At 193 pieces it's not a large set, but the design punches above its weight in playability and old-school charm.
Five minifigures are included — a mix of Imperial Guards and Pirates — which gives the set a natural tension straight out of the box. It's the kind of classic confrontation that defined the Pirates theme during its peak years in the early 90s, and it holds up well as a display piece for collectors with a soft spot for that era.
